Grapefruit ( Citrus x paradisi ) mainly grown in America, South Africa and Israel, belongs to the Rutaceae family.

Main aromatic molecules: Monoterpenes (limonene).
Family: Rutaceae.
Productive organs: Zest (fruit pericarp).
Yield: 2.5 kg of essence per 100 kg of peel.
Equivalence: 1 ml → 36 drops (dosage calculated for a
European Pharmacopoeia calibrated dropper).

Beautiful tree with dense foliage, grapefruit gives fruits in a cluster, hence the origin of its English name ”grapefruit”.
