Moutain Savory
Satureja montana
Main aromatic molecules: Monoterpene phenols (carvacrol, thymol), monoterpenes (α and γ-terpinenes, paracymene), monoterpenols.
Family: Lamiaceae.
Producing organs : Aerial parts.
Yield: 250g of essential oil per 100kg of plant.
Equivalence: 1ml → 30 drops (dosage calculated for a calibrated European Pharmacopoeia dropper).
Skin application
Oral route
Take 2 drops of Mountain Savory essential oil on a neutral tablet, 3 times a day, for 8 days. From 15 years+.
Cystitis
Take 1 drop of Mountain Savory essential oil on a neutral tablet, 1 spoonful of honey, olive oil or edible sweet almond, 4 times a day, for 6 days. Adults only.
Wart
Blend 1 drop of Mountain Savory essential oil with 2 drops of St. John’s wort vegetable oil. Apply to the wart twice a day with a cotton swab. From 7 years+.

Do not use :
in pregnant or breastfeeding women,
in children under 7,
in the person allergic to one of the components (limonene, linalool),
in asthmatics without the advice of an allergist,
in the epileptic people or people with a history of convulsive disorders,
in people with a history of gastritis, peptic ulcer, viral hepatitis A, B or C, or liver failure.
